AUSTRALIAN CERTIFIED MASTER GROOMER !!!!!!!!!!!!
Charmaine Bright is qualified as
an Certified Master Groomer under Australian
Breed Standards.
Traditionally a “master”
qualification applies to a proprietor of a
business that employs others and trains
apprentices. Like Master Farriers, Plumbers and
Builders, now Groomers can have the professional
recognition of their grooming skills. This
voluntary certification and testing offers
recognition of expert grooming skills on all
breeds, knowledge of canine anatomy and health
as well as dedication to the humane handling of
dogs. Charmaine endured vigorous testing
by Canadian Judge, Master Groomer and IPG
Certifier Ms Sandy Potter & Michel Evans. Over 8
hours of practical skills using 4 local dogs
and10 hours of written theory exams were sat.
Questions were tested on 185 breeds of dogs from
the Australian Dingo to the Weimaraner.,
Master
groomers can offer breed specific styling,
against “shave downs“, As we are familiar with
all our breeds and their standards here in
Australia we have an eye for designing a
fabulous look for the numerous new designer dogs
and all their different looks and coat types.
There are 18
Master Groomers in Australia and the Central
Coast has 3 of them. Other Master Groomers in
Australia can be found at
