About Charmaine
Charmaine grew up in a pet
loving family in the Hornsby area before moving to the
Central Coast of NSW, Australia. Charmaine had the family's dogs, cats,
goldfish, hermit crabs, axolotls to contend with as well
as bringing stray dogs home from school, rescuing blue
tongue lizards and nursing injured birds back to health.
Always wanting to work in the
pet industry she took on an apprenticeship position to
learn the art of professional dog and cat grooming. On
completion she embarked on the Kennel and Cattery
Operations Course later being awarded the highest pass
by the Pet Industry Joint Advisory Council (PUAC).
Chardee her cat was the first pet that was solely her
own. Chardee would ride in the car to the grooming salon
and sit amongst the dogs. He thought he was a dog. A
people cat with attitude. Sadly passed away after 10
good years 23.12.01.
Colleda was saved from being hit by a train at Gosford Railway tracks,
upon finding her owners they then gave her to us. They
weren't able to dedicate time to the special needs of a
Siberian Husky. Colleda has a special place in our
hearts even through some of the trying times we've had
with her in her first few years.
Since starting her own salon
Charmaine has completed many courses which enables her to
apply new pet friendly techniques and professional flair
in the comfort of her well designed premises.
Charmaine is an advocate for the humane treatment of
pets especially in areas such as grooming and training.
She has broadened her knowledge in these fields and
offers expert advice to her clients
Charmaine's
dream of living with a white Standard Poodle has come true.
Chrystelle is such a special dog and has converted lots
of people to liking poodles. She loves greeting clients
and their dogs in the salon and lapping up all the
attention she can get.
Templer is just as ball crazy
as his mother Chrystelle. Templer is kept in Show
Trim and the first male dog for Charmaine to have.
Templer was the first born out of Chrystelle's
Diesel & Rebel are two lovely cats that found their way
