Healthy Pets - Worming
Puppies need to be wormed against roundworm, hookworm, whipworm and tapeworm
every 2 weeks until they are 3 months old and every month until they are 6
months old. They then require worming every 3 months for life.

Heartworm- Heartworm prevention needs to start before a puppy is 6 months old.
The yearly injection can be given to a puppy at 4 months with a booster shot to
follow a few months later depending on the size of the breed.
It is important not to be late with the annual booster shot as it lasts a
duration of only 12 months.
